Serving in the LMU Ambassador Program helps us feel connected to the LMU community even though we've left Los Angeles. Living in San Francisco and Washington D.C., we'd hosted and attended Alumni Happy Hours and always felt that we had this special connection with others no matter where we moved. Once settled in Sacramento, becoming Regional Ambassadors has given us opportunities to meet prospective and incoming students through Admissions events and Send-Off parties, as well as connect more deeply with other alumni throughout generations. When we host or attend these gatherings, we reflect on our fondest memories of our time at LMU and continue to feel deep gratitude for the place that helped us grow in knowledge, faith, and service.
Kelley and Matt Brown are ambassadors in Sacramento, CA. Kelley is a learning specialist, and Matt an attorney. Currently, both are serving on their 10-year reunion committee! One of Kelley's proudest moments was being Valedictorian of the Class of 2011, 10 years ago! Their daughter, Elle, is a little Lion in training.
