Since 1996, The Achievable Foundation has served more than 10,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and other vulnerable populations through its high-quality health care programs and services. In 2013, Achievable launched the Health Center offering primary medical, mental health, and other specialty care. The Achievable Health Center serves more than 2,000 patients, doubled the number of medical providers and plans to expand.
Carmen M. Ibarra ’90 joined Achievable in 2014 as chief executive officer. Prior to this appointment, she served as CEO at Pomona Community Health Center and chief operations officer for Venice Family Clinic. Ms. Ibarra has served on several nonprofit boards including the California Family Health Council, Westside Shelter and Hunger Coalition and Health Care L.A.
