Linda Cardellini

Linda Cardellini is an LMU alumna, class of 1997, Distinguished Alumni Awardee and an actor whose career has successfully spanned over 20 years in both film and television. Linda's breakthrough role was in Freaks and Geeks, which won an Emmy for "Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series." She is also known for her leading roles in ER and Bloodline. In 2013, Linda received her first Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series" for her role as Sylvia Mann in Mad Men.

In film, Linda has starred in the live-action adaptation of Scooby Doo, Aric Avelino's debut feature American Gun, and Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain, which garnered an Academy Award nomination. Linda also earned an Independent Spirit Award for "Best Female Lead" for her starring role in Return. Several other films include Legally Blonde, Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Avengers: End Game, the comedies Daddy's Home and Daddy's Home 2, The Founder, and the horror film The Curse of La Llorona. In 2018, Linda played Dolores Vallelonga in the Academy Award-winning film for "Best Picture," Green Book.

Currently, Linda produces and stars opposite Christina Applegate on Netflix's Dead to Me, which is streaming season 2 now. Also available on-demand now is her film, Capone, where she stars alongside Tim Hardy.
