The biggest LMU alumni tradition will be back in fall 2023! Join alumni, family, and friends in Sunken Garden for delicious BBQ, drinks, and family fun. The BBQ will feature several alumni-owned businesses, and campus tours are available for you to check out what's new on the bluff. Prior to the BBQ, you are invited to join the community at 10 a.m. for Alumni Mass in Sacred Heart Chapel.

If you are interested in helping at Alumni BBQ, volunteer opportunities are available in several areas.

LMU’s Inclusive History and Images Project (IHIP), in cooperation with the university’s Anti-Racism Project, seeks to gather oral histories and artifacts from alumni to gain a deeper understanding of Loyola Marymount University. You are invited and encouraged to bring images to Alumni BBQ to be scanned or digitized that represent the diverse and often unrepresented experiences of our LMU community so they can be included in this important project.
