ATTORNEYS FOR OTHERS

Tell Us What Connected You to This Organization
Vivienne Chen ’17 and I heard about this organization through a member of the LLS Alumni Association Board of Governors, and after hearing about the rich history that St. Francis Center has with the law school, it was a no brainer to get involved in some way.

What Inspires You About the Organization, Mission or Your Nominee's Role
It is impossible to not be inspired by the St. Francis Center's mission. In support of it, law school students and alumni get together to help provide meals to the less fortunate, which makes a direct impact to the local community.

Share Advice to Guide Students Hoping to Pursue a Career with Social Impact or in Nonprofit Industries
Find a cause you care about, not all causes will speak to you in the same way.  Once you identify one, find a way to get involved, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant that involvement may be. From there, let your support and interest grow and you will find it difficult not to take on increasingly larger and supportive roles.

Tell Us How Others Can Volunteer with Your Cause
Attorneys for Others serves breakfast every third Saturday of each month from 7–10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Center. Volunteer with fellow LMU Loyola Law School alumni, staff, and student volunteers, and bring along family members and friends. Click HERE to register.
