Why this Organization/Cause is Important to You or the Nominee
Jenny Dietsch ’92, P’27, owner of Getting It Done Organizing in Dallas, helps people bring peace and clarity to their lives through home organization and simplicity. Dietsch credits her time at LMU with giving her the confidence, skills, and values to pursue her career, lead with purpose, and instill Jesuit principles in her family. Being involved with LMU is deeply meaningful to Dietsch because it allows her to give back in ways that directly support students’ growth, opportunities, and sense of community. She and her husband have hosted student send-offs, coordinated alumni and parent gatherings, cheered on LMU athletics, and organized service events like the LMU Day of Service in Dallas at Feed My Starving Children. Through these activities, Dietsch strengthens the LMU community in Dallas. Dietsch’s service extends to the BCLA Advisory Board, where she contributes her time, energy, and perspective to help shape programs that benefit students. For Dietsch, involvement is about modeling service and leadership, and ensuring LMU continues to inspire the next generation to make a positive impact.

A Legacy of Service Across Generations
When I was a junior at LMU, I joined the Special Games program. I’m not sure who got more out of it, me or my athletes. Today, I’m so proud that my son serves on the board of Special Games, just as I did. It’s so exciting to hear his joy and enthusiasm when he serves the Special Games community.

Recently, I looked back at photos from my LMU days and saw pictures of me with my athlete, then noticed that same athlete featured on LMU’s social media page, still competing more than 30 years later! The fact that these athletes continue to participate, and that LMU students uphold this meaningful tradition year after year is both impactful and heartwarming.
