Sandra and I met almost 10 years ago in a women's choir. The Director created Musical Miracles as a non-profit arm of her music school to provide free music education for LAUSD. Sandra became President, due to her many years of non-profit leadership (inaugural CFO, Redondo Beach Ed Foundation). Sandra asked me to join as Secretary of the Board.
What Inspires You About the Organization, Mission or Your Nominee's Role
Sandra is an awesome leader. She communicates clearly and has organized the Board for growth, which will lead to Musical Miracles able to get into additional LAUSD elementary schools.
