LMU is pleased to announce its latest wine release, created by and for our community. This year’s limited release is a 2022 GSM from Costa de Oro Winery featuring a custom label designed by Curbside, an LMU student and faculty artwork collective. It celebrates our new partnership with LMU vintners Gary Burk, P ’20, and Teresa Gasca-Burk ’83, P ’20. Every purchase supports LMU student scholarships, making this a meaningful way to raise a glass to a brighter future.

Bottle Artwork

The bottle showcases mural artwork by the Curbside Collective, a team of alumni artists from the Class of 2022 — Jacob Johanson, Jack Alving, and Bobby Sutton — mentored by Macha Suzuki, clinical assistant professor of studio arts at LMU. Created in 2022, the mural celebrates the dynamic interplay that arises when individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences come together to form a shared community of listening, learning, collaboration, and creativity. This vibrant and bold mural, which resides in the William H. Hannon Library media lounge, mirrors the character of the GSM wine blend it adorns.
