Latino Alumni Association Summer Kickoff 2022

The LMU Latino Alumni Association (LAA) continues to provide much needed scholarship support, professional networking and mentorship opportunities to future generations of Latino leaders. The LMU Latino Alumni Association is a legacy of the Mexican American Alumni Association, and has served the university, the community, its students and its alumni for more than 40 years.

Elias Herrera ’26 is an entrepreneurship major in LMU College of Business. For Elias, diversity is what defines L.A. He’s using his entrepreneurship background to serve small business owners in under-invested communities and preserve the character and identity of historically Latino neighborhoods throughout the city.
