Denise and I met on an Alternative Breaks trip to the Philippines in 2013 when we were both Juniors. We both knew of each other, but never actually spoke. We quickly became good friends and would hang out constantly. We both used to hang out in the CSA office, and I’d walk her back to her dorm in Sullivan (she was an RA) even though I lived in Leavey 4, just to spend a little extra time with her. Eventually, we started dating our Senior year. Now 7 years later, and working through 6 years of long-distance and a move to NYC, we got engaged last month!
