Chris and I met at a Service Org event after I transferred from another university. He was in Magis, I was in Gryphon Circle. We met at the annual Gryphon/Magis Bonfire at a Playa Vista beach. We both almost didn't attend because we both had exams to study for. Turns out, we were in the same genetics class and helped each other through. Ever since then, we have supported each other through graduating LMU, PA school, Medical school, and now residency. Last year, we made a commitment to each other to keep what we have going for the rest of our lives. Our wedding in planned to be held at Sacred Heart Chapel in May and even if the pandemic prevents this from happening, LMU will always be a special place for us.
