We both started LMU in the fall of 1984. We met outside SAGA (cafeteria) via a mutual friend, my roommate Gloria. We became friends and went to a formal together our sophomore year. We’d meet up at the dances on campus and hang out some times. Until our senior year, we became boyfriend/girlfriend. We really enjoyed each other’s company and had fun together. We soon were in love and felt called to marriage. We attended the engaged couples retreat through LMU. Fr George Wanser, my spiritual director, married us at our local church a year after graduation. We have 7 kids, our oldest, is also an LMU alumni of the class of 2012.
