We met at Pi Beta Phi’s date night (Samantha’s sorority). We both went with friends, and at the event, our friends pushed us together to dance. The rest, as they say, is history! Mike graduated from LMU two months after we met, and we continued dating long distance, with Mike working in Canada while I finished my senior year at LMU. We moved to Boston (Mike’s hometown) days after my LMU graduation so I could start my Doctor of Physical Therapy program. We got married in 2018 and had our daughter, Ella, in April 2020.
